Does anyone know why it isnt a good idea to re-use a Polytunnel cover as mentioned on first tunnels web site?

As the plastic ages, it lets less light through, however the plastic on our homemade tunnel was pre-loved and is now into its fifth year with us and still doing fine. :)

It's probably not a good idea as they'd like you to buy a new one!
