One of my Dutch pullets has started to lay. For the last 5 days she has laid one of these :roll:
I cracked one open and there is no yoke. Her sister is laying normal eggs.





Is this likely to continue or is she just practising :lol:

Don't know about the eggs but they are tiny!

Havent got any scales to weigh them but they are about the size of a grape :!:
She laid another one this morning so I think I have a duff hen. Never mind she is lovely anyway.

Hens often lay one or two like this when coming into lay but I have to agree with you here; she's beginning to look like a duff egg layer. :(
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".
