I was just thinking this morning that mine are close to "test time" I can't wait!  My first earlies have been in exactly 10 weeks!  They haven't flowered or anything yet but the foliage is quite large now - I'm excited at the prospect of digging them up  :D :D :D :D :D

Ours are not even flowering ... But masses of lush foliage. Is all in order still?

Just dug up a couple of plants. There's enough for a pan full but they need a bit longer yet. End of the month I reckon.

Good luck, my first year so i can't claim to have done anything other than chucked them in the ground and earthed up - I did chit them early and for quite a while so mayber that was the trick.
My husband's a water sign, I'm an earth sign, together we make mud :-)

My gardening diary is here - go on, have a peek , you might be able to help me!

Well my Charlottes are just starting to flower - my Lady Crystals not so, and also they have less foliage.

It's my first year growing Lady Crystal - very eager to try them!

This is my 3rd year growing Lady C and ive never had any flowers yet. Mine are also smaller than the Charlottes, but when I dug one up last night they were just the right size and tasted wonderful, like they'd been grown in butter!

So it is possible to have potatoes beneath the soil even when the plant has not flowered?  Is that right?  I also have huge foliage...?  Should I check my earlies or leave them a while...anyone got any advice for me?

How long have they been in?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

My Lady Christl were planted on the 7th April, so i guess they've been in around 9-10 weeks. As Yorkie says it depends how long they've been in the ground, but I wouldn't be waiting until they flower, as they probably won't.

Mine went in on the 09Apr.  So I'll have a little dig around!  Maybe I'll have some tatties to eat this w/e!

Thanks!
