fertile eggs

ive just recived fertile eggs through the post this morning all packed properly how long do i leave it before i put them under my broody hen

It is advised that they rest at room temperature for 24 hours.  That is if you are patient and can wait that long!   :wub:

Some people say it is ok to just put them straight under a broody or in the incubator but others say rest them for 24 hours!!  I suppose it depends on what you paid for the eggs if you are going to take a risk.

i put the eggs under my buff orpington this morning fingers crossed i will candle in around 10 days heres hoping
