Sonic Mole Scarers
« on: May 02, 2009, 14:38 »
Has anybody used one of these and had good results?

When I went to my plot this morning there was a molehill on the path next to my plot. I scraped the soil off and put it on one of my beds, half an hour later the molehill was almost as high again!

I have searched on this site but there seems to no evidence these sonic gadgets work!!
The answer lies in what you put into the ground!

We have a mole too. I have ended up having about 6 mole hills across my veggie patch. Fortunately it started before I started planting stuff out.

My hubby has tried using lethal mole traps to no avail. So we are thinking of getting a sonic one.

i am at the point now where I really want to get stuff in the ground. It is all been sown in pots waiting to go in.

Any advice on the sonic scarers would be welcome.

They are no good ,we have moles on our allotment.
Bought 2 Sonic mole scarers 2yrs ago ,the moles made a hill right at the side of the Mole scarer, they tunnel right up to and around the device.
So don't buy ,waste of money.

I can't answer for the sonic mole scarers but we recently bought a CatWatch from http://www.conceptresearch.co.uk/ and it works extremely well. If their MoleChasers are as effective as their CatWatch, you should have a winner. Oh, and they offer a 90 day, no questions asked, money-back refund.
