My personal favourite: tender steamed chard, poached egg and smoked haddock.  ;)
Mmmm, that sounds delicious.

Any other ideas?

Just read the first line of the quote and thought, "That's my favourite too!"
What a pl***er!

I like to wilt some on the top of a curry as it finishes cooking.
Or just wilt in a pan with a little olive oil and black pepper, serve sprinkled with lemon or balsamic vinegar as a warm salad

Now that sounds nice... I''d have a go at red or yellow sweet peppers pan fried in oil with black pepper before wilting the Swiss chard and sprinkling on the.... well you get the idea.  ;).

A splosh of plain yoghurt on the side might be interesting? (Perhaps)

Thanks, mum. (Oh, that takes me back :) )

I didn't know DT Brown did free P&P on seeds. I'll have to give them a go.

Done. White Silver 2 ordered :)

Wow, I'm really impressed. My seeds arrived on the second working day, and I got a packet of Swiss Chard plus a free packet of lettuce seeds for the total sum of 99p, with free P&P. I think I just found a new favourite seed supplier :)

I've been spreading the word for ages, I'm surprised you've not seen my previous posts about them  :D

I probably have. Trouble is I've seen an awful lot of posts from different people recommending different seed suppliers and it's kind of hard to know which one's best till you've tried them. My personal bete noir when shopping online is paying high P&P charges when you're not actually spending very much on the item, so I do like to use companies that give free P&P. And their selection of seeds looks pretty good as well. I think I used to order from them years and years ago, but had got off their mailing list for catalogues and just kind of forgot about them. But I'll certainly be using them again :)
