Off to boil an egg so I can try this!

Did you know that we also peel bananas the wrong way. Monkeys start at the end opposite the stalk, and this way, if the peels a bit hard,  you don't end up with a bit of squashy banana. Tried it, and it works a treat!

I've always done it the roll-on-table way ... dunno if that is unusual though?

I heard that a while back and tried it and the end squishes so I prefer to do it the "wrong way round".  Might just be me ... again!!

I tip the water out of the pan, toss the eggs in the pan once to crack the shells, fill the pan with cold water and the shell just pops off.

I've had a life time of picking tiny bits of shell off only to bite into gritty egg sandwiches! :D :D :D

As he said in the video, its all about keeping moist. I find generally if cooled quickly and left submerged in water for 10 mins they do peel easier. Very, very fresh eggs (1-2 days old) are always a nightmare though regardless.
I was put on this earth to accomplish a certain number of things; right now I am so far behind I will never die.

The clip about the waffle maker was really interesting too. Might have a play with mine.

Have heard somewhere that if you leave an freshly laid egg for about 5 days before hard boiling, it will shell much easier , why that is , I don't know.  There must be a reason.
