I have grown some toms from seed. The problem is I dont recall what habit they are. I bought the seeds from Chilterns who no longer list them. Has anyone else got Redstart or grown it previously?

Are you sure they're tomatoes, not peppers?
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".

I wondered that too - can't find any mention of a Redstart tomato Big Paddy, only peppers and Bergenia?  :?

Yep. I even dug the seed packet out of the bin in the greenhouse. Being Chilterns it only tells you what is in it and nothing more. I did the internet search and found the same as you, but no tomato. I cant even recall ordering them. They do sometimes send an alternative, but dont know what to if that has happened.

The thing is some look like they are going to be bushy and some look like straight cordons.

Confused of Hull.

You could just try growing them as a normal tom plant paddy, and see what happens..

BTW..What allotment site are you on Bigpaddy?, I,m on the Gypsyville site.
I used to work in a helium gas factory, but I walked out, no one talks to me like that.

I'd send an e-mail to chiltern, might be the reason it's not featured any more that it was wrongly named...
