Hello, I'm about to get a couple more girlies for my very rampant drake, and it'll be the first time I've made any additions to my flock.  I've done it loads of times with my chucks, but am just wondering if it's any different with ducks?  I read somewhere that ducks don't have a pecking order like chickens, is that right? Also, can anyone tell me how to post pics on here as my little duckling isn't so little anymore (nearly 3 weeks old) and I'd love to put some piccys on

Never had chickens but from what I hear it is a lot less fuss with ducks. I just bung them all in together and they get on with it. Never had a problem and although they do have a bit of a pecking order it never seems as bad as I hear about with chickens. My drake did harrass a new girls for a while but all settles when the novelty wore off.

I agree with Kate, a lot less hassle with ducks, i brought 11 ducks home from Tania in Kent, and put my Aylesbury boy straight in with them, no problems what so ever, i had also brought 8 Aylesbury Duckings, they are a few weeks old, and they went in with the others, and touch wood not had any problems at all.
