Hi Roughlee Handled,

I am curious.... if you have a refernce book in your mitts, why did you only skim through it?  Re-read to be sure is my offering.

Thanks cathangirl good advice.  But I would much rather skim and ask the all knowing ones that I have it correct.  Saves more time for chucks. :tongue2:

It's no good, I'm going to have to order some more eggs for my incy.  Thank goodness it only takes 10.  The orp babies went to their new homes yesterday so I'm feeling bereft of chicks.  OK they were between 20 and 16 weeks old and getting very large but all the same they were my babies :D  I fancy some cream legbars for the blue eggs or some derbyshire redcaps.  What do you think?  Or some more silkies or.....

Well seeing as the orpies have gone to their new home, if they all hatch the total will be 16.  I liked the idea of blue eggs and auto sexing (I'm still not 100% sure of the orp's but I think there's 3 girls and 2 boys).

I like the idea of auto sexing and that is why I have gone for mainly Scots Grey as they supposedly can be auto sexed. But I am wanting two cream legbars just for the blue eggs.
