Title: Shed! Nearly done...

Walls and roof support beams went up yesterday. The giant roofpanels went up today. No clue how we're going to get the felt up there - we're short people so even with the ladder it's a stretch! It's a secondhand shed so it had felt on it but it got cut up when they took the roof apart   and the sheets of plywood were surprisingly a LOT more heavy with the felt on anyway...
Just need to sort out the door too. It has "stable" type doors, top and bottom.  I think it looks very cute but DH is more security conscious so wants to board them heavily on the back so they're just one door.
Locks/hasps needed too. Still so much work to do and we're knackered but at least there's something to show for it. The main shed bit is 8x6ft, the overhang is another foot, it's 6ft 6inches at the eaves. It's truly the monster of the allotment at the moment. Still is technically within the contract limits, though, so we should be alright.

I'm impressed - on our site you'd have extended the overhang into an enourmous porch, and then raised the  roof to accomodate a huge vine.

Knowing London house prices, I reckon you'll make a fortune in the rental market!

It looks absolutely fantastic :)
