Been keeping my girls now for 18 months all laying well but some of the bantams are loosing feathers round their heads and chests any ideas could this just be a moult or could there be another reason would love to know as a bald headed chicken is not good!! ta :shock:

Hi Helen welcome to the forums    I'm no expert but judging by the age of your birds I'd go for moulting.

There's plenty of more experienced poultry keepers on here than me so replys will be forthcoming
