Been keeping my girls now for 18 months all laying well but some of the bantams are loosing feathers round their heads and chests any ideas could this just be a moult or could there be another reason would love to know as a bald headed chicken is not good!! ta :shock:

Hi Helen welcome to the forums  :D  I'm no expert but judging by the age of your birds I'd go for moulting.

There's plenty of more experienced poultry keepers on here than me so replys will be forthcoming  :D
