Do I need to do anything to my pepper plants?

I have 2 in decent sized pots in my plastic g'house.   Door is open most days, get watered nearly daily (enthusiastic toddler with watering can alert!).  I have several flowers appearing and a couple opening.

I was going to feed with week tom food once I saw peppers, is there anything else I need to do, pinch out, support?????

Don't pinch out.

Do support.

Otherwise OK! (IMHO).
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

My peppers (and aubergine and tomatoes) are in my conservatory at home because I don't have a greenhouse yet at the lottie. Do you think it'll be ok to leave these plants outside while am on holiday (two weeks in Italy from next Monday)...

I have two plastic greenhouse zip-up thingys I could use to put them in and can get someone to keep them watered while I'm away

I'm going to elbow in on this thread if I may, having bought a pepper plant about three or four weeks ago with lots of healthy fruits on it. How long do they take to ripen?

*taps foot impatiently*

I've been watering. but wasn't sure about tom food, so haven't bothered. Should I?
