Hi,

I got my green house from someone on Freecycle and I love it!!

The only problem I have is pests! Its been up 3 weeks now, and we are starting to notice white fly, red spider and another one which I cant remeber the name of (looks like eggs, sticks itself to the back of my pepper plants, and it begins with a?  :oops: )

Would it normally be this quick from putting it up to get these pests?

The only other thing I cant think of it being is that is might have been brought along from the old owners, even though it sat in our garden for a month before it was put up. I did give it a quick clean with washing up liquid (mainly because it was dirty) but this doesnt seem to have stopped the problem happening. My husband told me that all the old owners had in it was a grape vine.

Would anyone be able to help me please??

You may well have imported the pests with the greenhouse. I know it's not going to help now, but washing it with Jeyes Fluid may have been better.

I don't know if you are organic or not, a proprietry inseticide would help. Others may suggest the organic way!

aphids - Thats the one  

I will try the proprietry inseticide and see if that helps.

Does anyone know an organic way, not fussed which way I do it, just want to get rid of the little *!   :cry:
