Wormcast-Pro - basically, worm poo.

http://www.ormproproducts.com/products/wormcast-pro-nsb.php

I was at a talk, this stuff is amazing. It enhances the fertiliser  you use (if you use one ) so you dont use as much, it suppresses soil born diseases to the extent you do not have to rotate crops - for example, it completely prevent club root in brassicas, so you can grow brassicas in the same bit of land year after year. , and plants grown in compost containing just 5% develop better better and have twice the root structure. Its completely natural and so totally organic.

Its the way growing will go, because fertilisers are getting too expensive and people want green and organic.

Isn't the cheapest way to have your own wormery and produce your own?

A talk promoting the stuff is going to rave about it but I have heard good things about wormeries.  If only I could cope with the wriggly things.....

i had a wormery but they died, this was because i am on my own and so they did not get the right mix of food, its like making your own compost you need the right mix of greens and browns.

however i would say that i had about 8 ltrs of liquid ferterliser and a good amount of compost from them
so worth it i think.

And that has been trialled and tested and peer reviewed and proven so, for how long did he say?

I asked him directly, ' Does this suppress soil born diseases to the point yo ucan eliminate crop rotation', he said 'yes'. Apparently they been giving this stuff out round the Hort Industry for people to try for about 4 years, and then validating the results. He was quite insistent this was most certainly tried tested and verified.
