The wife has growing on the window sill some fuschias ready for her hanging baskets, she has pinched out the tops to try and make them "bushy" But she would like to know whether or not she has to pinch out the side shoots as well. Any ideas would be much appreciated. :D

I pinch the side shoots as well, this will give really bushy plants and more flowers as well. Use the bits pinched out as cuttings, they will root very easily and make even more plants

Keep pinching until you have it the shape you want.  Don't let the fruit set or it will stop them flowering well.

For info remember single flower plants take about eight to ten weeks to flower from pinched shoots and doubles ten to twelve weeks.
