I am working abroad for 8 weeks and am doing lots of gardening jobs a little earlier than I would normally.

Can I feed my rambling rose now or should I wait until my return?

Just to be contrary - I'd apply half now and the rest when you come back. Just in case all that you apply now gets washed away in heavy rain.
