To mow or not to mow...
« on: March 10, 2014, 14:43 »
My grass is getting longer by the day but the ground is still quite wet - what's everyone else doing with their lawns?

Lowered the wheels of the lawn mower and cut then I'll wait a couple of days raise the wheels a notch and cut again wait a few days raise the wheels again and finally cut at lowest setting, then its patch repair with grass seed.

The lawnmower then gets adjusted to it's highest setting to allow the new grass to get to a reasonable height and strength before I repeat the process.

Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

even if its still a bit wet and churns up a bit I would cut it -it will recover - every year the fields round here during winter turn to mud but soon turn green again in the summer
