Title: honda f600 spade/lug drive wheels
Post by: hthry on March 17, 2017, 10:37
hi I have a Honda f600 which does a great job of my allotment but I also have a plough with it but the normal rubber wheels are no good to pull it with so apart from ebay where could I look ?
and never seen a Honda set on there but did nearly buy a meery tiller set

what is the proper name for these wheels so I can search for them ?

would not mind buying a new set if I cant get a second hand pair .

Traction wheels. I'm not well up on Hondas but don't they have hexagonal shafts? So you will need wheels with hex centres, Merry Tillers have round shafts and the drive force is taken on the rotor pins. If you are referring to the proper Nipon Matsuyama plough, you may need wheel weights etc, to keep those wheels gripping.

Have you seen these? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Rotovator-4-00-x-8-Drive-Wheels-New-Old-Stock-/142198971661?hash=item211bb81d0d:g:cXsAAOSwawpXuc~5 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Rotovator-4-00-x-8-Drive-Wheels-New-Old-Stock-/142198971661?hash=item211bb81d0d:g:cXsAAOSwawpXuc~5)

Honda are still selling new stuff so any Honda garden machinery dealer should be able to help, but expect to pay a high price.
