I do much the same but dry mine in the shed and then store them in there on a shelf where it is relatively cool and dark.

If you use the greenhouse, just take care not to fry them.  It seems unlikely given the weather I know, but it is surprising how the temperature does shoot up once the sun comes out  :)

Same here, I separated the daff bulbs and left them on a top shelf in the GH in a big seed tray. I'll label them when they're dry enough, and box them up properly for once!

Last year, I forgot where they were (coal shed), and anyway, the mice had got some other bulbs like the hyacinths, so that didn't help!

This has been a fabulous year for daffs, I cannot remember any spring when they were all so good, here and in everyone's garden!

I was going to ask the same question as mine have just about finished flowering and I need to get them out of their barrels because unfortunately our gardener helper used the soil from an old conifer rockery (a.k.a. Fido's grave) which is contaminated with mares tail  and is rather rife here. I'll bung the different varieties into bags with the soil attached so they die off "naturally" then chiggle the soil off them later on.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I dig, air dry in a tray for a few days, remove dry soil and dry scales from the outside of the bulbs, then store in onion bags until fall planting time.  Keep those onion bags with bulbs in a dry place that doesn't get too warm.
