May need to replace my mower and have been lookiong at good reviews on Which? for the Bosch Rotak 40. There is another model 430 which is wider and on sale at Been and Queued (where I also get pensioner discount). On the Bosch site, they just name a model 43. So - according to my research, both the 43 and 430 versions seem to have the same specs, but different EAN codes, and the Bosch site for the 43 version has a part number "0600881370" whereas the other's website states a "model" number: "600881371." Are they both the same mower but designed for different countries or what?

They look the same to me by comparing two pages side by side.  But B&Q say the 43 is no longer available.

I bought a mower a few years back, its a rotary one and it does a fine job.  My one regret is that I got one with four wheels and not a back roller.  Its not stripes I want but the wheels tend to drop off the edge of the grass.  A roller would run along those edges.  With four wheels I have to mess about cutting the edges to stop it tipping in. (Its not a mistake I would make again, buy one with a roller)

My MIL swears by these mowers! So much so that when the Husband broke my Flymo, she persuaded us to get one! We ended up with the Rotak 37 - Argos had it at £50 off so it is worth shopping around for a good deal.  We don't need a big mower as we only have a small lawn so the 37 is just right and it cuts so well our lawn looks better than it has done for a long time.  (MIL also admitted that she used it to pick up all the chicken poo rather than the usual raking - I wouldn't have known if she hadn't fessed up!)

I am keeping the Husband away from it though, not wanting it to join the other electrical casualties that he has "done nothing" to (2 strimmers, 1 Flymo, 1 TV, 1 video recorder, 1 DVD player...)
