through freecycle i put a wanted compost bin .
i have been offered a rotating compost.
i havent a clue what these are like.
so questions??
what exactly are they?
are they any good?
should i accept the offer.?

They`re supposed to be really good as you can easily turn the contents to speed up compost making,I would grab it while it`s going as they`re not cheap to buy.

1)its suppoesed to be quicker than ordinary ones :D
2)yes the're good, easy way to mix it all up- i use mine at home instead of the plot :D
3)take it, you'll get on ok with it, tumble it every day :D

there is one you can make from a 50 gallon drum ... i think aggy has the address on a post she did  :lol: on compost bins    :lol:

picked it up yesterday it is like the ones on the link .its a large barrow
all what needs doing is there is a couple of bolts what you attach it to the frame is missing but will be no problem to replace.
