I'm growing veg for the first time this year.

I found some caterpillars on my swede leaves, and remember seeing a couple of white butterflies/moths loitering round the swede a few weeks ago.

There seem to be two types of caterpillar, a plain green one and one that is both yellow and black.

Can anyone tell me what they are and how to get rid?

Try either of the above.  Picking and squishing is the organic way, making sure you also squish any eggs.
