Title: swede problem help needed please

i think there is something wrong with one of my swede plants. looked today and on one, and only one of the plants thank goodness, at the top of the root it seems to be foaming on one side????

thought it was a slug but couldn't see one, not that i had time to look too closely as nearly got a mouth and nose full of whitefly  :mad: :mad: sick of the things had me kale and sprouts GRRRRRRRRR!!! but different subject !!

anyway could it be slugs that are starting on me swede ?? or something else??

any help greatfully appreciated

Your swede could be rotting and fermenting from the inside.  :ohmy:    Sounds dramatic but a possibility.    :(    Cheers,     Tony.

thank you and could this produce alcahol?? if nothing else, worth thinking about  :D :D
