Hey,

how often do you guys cultivate ur soil around your pen/coop?

I have sharp sand in the run and dig it over about every 2 weeks depending on how it smells
the hens tend to do most of the digging themselves

Hi craig if you use woodchip you dont need to dig as often,  they sell it at BnM for 1.99 good stuff aswell

I don't do that to the soil we have plants around our pen and their roots grow long and thick that way if a fox tried to get into out pen they would not be able to dig around the roots.
