I have a Gold Brahma who is 13 weeks old and her favorite pastime is perching on my shoulder! She is so sweet and well natured and actively loves a cuddle.  She'll stay there and walk over my back if I'm putting feeders down or cleaning the coop and back onto my shoulder when I stand up.

I'll try and get a piccie next time she does it. Goodness knows how we'll cope when she's fully grown!

My husband's lemon cuckoo orpington loves to perch on my shoulder too. She's only a pullet. Imagine her trying to perch on my shoulder when she's fully grown!

One of my Barred Rocks used to jump on my shoulder or back when I was leaning down to fill up their water dish.  But once she started laying, she gave up on this passtime.  It's just as well, because she was leaving dirty chickeny footprints on my clothes!

  yes she's very cuddly I must admit and I don't mind her as my hat except that she would have to get used to heights!
