hi sorting out my back lawn was flooding all the in winter so raise it by putting a load of ruble undr soil and then coveing with top soil its been down about a month now will i need to compack with a compactor before i lay the lawn

yes . have it rolled level . rake it to break up the surface and then have it turfed hey presto instant lawn...... just water if we have dry spells lasting more than 3 days for first month. dont cut for 6 weeks
