5 seconds before he was on his back with his legs in the air - looking a total sloppy :)

I actually got as far as him sniffing my hand last night but you still have to be careful not to look at him directly or he gets nervous. I know he'll never be as tame as the cats we've had from a little kitten but hopefully we'll be stroking him in a year or so.

I'm a big soft lump when it comes to animals :tongue2:  Their love is unconditional and there's nothing better than at the end of a bad day sitting and having a good old natter with them 8)

Just like max in this picture, totally relaxed with his head on his mums lap.

Their love is unconditional

It is conditional................ on food and reasonable treatment/comfortable conditions
As long as you provided those requirements they're yours, treat them badly and they will try to find a better place, if they can.

It's sniffy cats that turn their nose up at the most expensive food, that make me wonder what they're thinking  :nowink:

Rufus the Feral, who has now decided my bed is better than the cowshed, has been talking to our other cats. Initially he was happy if we put dry biscuits and water in the shed. Now he's looking pathetic and half starved, which is some feat for a cat clearly over weight, by the food bowls that have those rubbish sachets of whiskas in when they should have felix as good as it looks.

Amber is holding out for extra strong garlic sausage and I swear she likes white pepper.. maybe I should try whiskas with pepper on?

I have spent the last 7 months totally making over our garden with new paths patio, log cabin (man cave), veg patch and large lawn. Now it is all one it is so nice to  just do typical gardening stuff and to relax with the dog - Gemma. Our last house had a small garden so we all love spending lots of time in our garden Now :D

Got a new 2 mo. old pup, Great Pyrenees/Anatolian/Maremma cross breeding, to help my old dog, Jake, in watching the flock.  He's coming along fine on training, a serious, sweet and calm pup that learns like lightning and is eager to please.  I thank God for his sweet nature, as I really wanted a dog that is easy to train and shows good intelligence.  He fits the bill, for sure.  A pure pleasure to have around and is already doing well on chickens after only a week of being here.

He looks absolutely adorable  :)  If he is bright and good natured as well, he sounds perfect  :)

Sounds as though he will be an asset to you, and not just with the flock either, Beekissed :D :D

Yes!  He's truly a gift from God to this homestead and to us.  A real sweet dog with a good temperament and good intelligence.  We are very pleased with him.   :)

These are flickr photos of some our cats and dogs over the years.  I seem to have uploaded some twice.
