Well at least the hanging basket ones are. I started them in the greenhouse and the ones left in there planted in raised beds are also damaged but much less so. Some of the hanging basket ones which I started earlier may produce something but I would say 75% or more will give me nothing.
The ones that are reasonable size (hanging baskets) have curled inward leaves and browning.
Disease? Or beasties? Couldn't see anything unusual in the way of beasties on the leaves. A bit of green fly.
Any help from the knowledgeable ones among you much appreciated.

Yes and it doesn't look anything like a lack of water.

The photo on the left looks like tomato curly top virus.  If it were mine, I would destroy the plant and toss the compost.

I can't quite tell with the other two.  The plastic in the hanging baskets, does it have drainage holes cut in the bottom?

Yes I put holes in but not in the bottom.
You need to put the holes in about 1.5" above the base. So it holds a bit of water.
Is that relavent to curly top virus?
Is is soil born?
I am thinking of the plants in the raised beds around the inside of the greenhouse.

The drainage / holes question had more to do with whether the roots might be too wet, possibly leading to root loss.

The curly top virus would probably be spread by plant to plant transmission.  I suggested disposing of the plant and compost to keep a severed root from transmitting virus to a new plant.

What did you plant them into? Was it fresh compost? Just wondering whether there's any risk of aminopyralid herbicide contamination?

Mainly my own compost which is being used all over the garden with no problems.

Sounds unlikely to have been that, unless you applied a lawn care product with weedkiller to the lawn and them composted the clippings. Herbicides affect some plants more than others.

Also the leaves on some look like they've got sun scorch which happens when you water while the sun is out because the water droplets act like a magnifying glass and so heats up the leaves then burns them.

Somehow I messed up parts of my post, they disappeared. No 1 and 3 are a mistery. The second picture I am talking about as cold damage, it might jolly well recover.

First looks like a blanched tomato, third is not even a tomato plant and looks like something forgotten, that has not been watered for a year or alternatively: waterlogged. The latter one is hard in hanging baskets.
