Much better here this week. 10-15C warmer than last week. The snow and Ice disappeared overnight on Sunday. There is a stiff breeze that is drying things out, fingers crossed, we will be able to get on with sorting the plot out at the weekend, if not before.

Woke up to 9C, so 1 less jumper on today  It's grey with rain on and off - but feel I must wrap up and go out for a walk before my legs seize up  I'm just hoping for a dry patch...

Texas has snow and cold worse than Anchorage, Alaska! Even as far south as Houston! Highly unusual that far south.

Texas is expecting even more snow later this week.

It was mild, bright and breezy this morning, so got to potter for a while in the greenhouse, but the wind strengthened to 30mph gusts, and brought dark clouds and rain with it. Boo hoo!
I was actually enjoying myself for a while there

Mum, your weather was 2°C warmer than we had, also damp gray and misty that time of the morning for us; not the wind though. Later in the day the sun came out though.

It's sunny and it's 12C  Only a slight southerly breeze - a big change for the better.
