Title: How long can seeds in the ground remain viable

It's wet and windy so I've been researching and found a fascinating study of seed viability that is still running today. It was started in 1879!

Looks interesting, will read later.  Am assuming weed seeds last for ever.

Nothing lasts forever.. but I do reckon some weeds may well make it to the point where the universe becomes cold :)
