looking for cheap herb plants

Hi,

Anyone know where I may find cheap herb plants? Preferably ones that will stand our winter..

hi i tend pick em up from supermarkets especially if they on price reduction,ive got a corriander,mint and parsley plants outside that got few years ago for 50p each they tend look afterthemselves

they sell thyme in pots and that will overwinter.

If you buy the supermarket pots make sure you gradually acclimatize the plant before putting in final location.

you really need to take cuttings or get seed  if i was near you could have had some as im always taking cuttings of herbs but it would cost to much to send

The Garden Shop in Henleaze is selling some strips of herbs and autumn veg plants cheaply and they have some 'Hairy Pot Company' plants reduced. They have sorrel, lavender, rosemary, thyme, mint, coriander, parsley, sage, bay etc.

I got a lot of herbs from a local gardencentre 2 weeks ago at 79p a pot.Really good plants too.Have a hunt around

I would either take cuttings from friends herbs or sow seeds.
