aphids already?

completely astonished when I saw them invaded my new plum plant. Cant believe they are out so early  >:(
One kid is handful. Two kids.... Example for chaos theory. Hats off to my mum who managed three...

There's loads of ladybirds down here and not an aphid in site. Perhaps they know what's coming.  :(

Lots round here too John.

If they can be persuaded to get into the greenhouse, they can take out all the white fly which will start to infest Mrs Growster's chillis soon...

Whitefly here too - been active the last couple of months - I only have to tap a raspberry cane and there's a shower of them - they always appear around the raspberries first for some reason >:(  I've noticed a few greenfly too - could do with some of those ladybirds :D

Whitefly here too - been active the last couple of months - I only have to tap a raspberry cane and there's a shower of them - they always appear around the raspberries first for some reason >:(  I've noticed a few greenfly too - could do with some of those ladybirds :D

I'm in Prestwich area and we have lots of whitefly here too. Diluted washing up liquid in a pump spray seems to keep them under a fair amount of control,but dont make the mix too strong :)
