£1 blueberry bushes
« on: February 23, 2010, 20:20 »
Timed this just right - £land had just recieved a delivery as I walked in. So the stock was fresh and healthy looking. I bought three and took them straight home to pot them on. I know they are only small but hey, what do you expect for £1? Worth a go!  :)
There's more comfrey here than you can shake a stick at!

You've taken the fun out of us having a guess at how much they cost!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Dead right! Thought I'd netted my blueberries really well last year but spent much more time letting the intruders out than picking the fruit!
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

I have a fruit cage but these will be in my homemade polytunnel. Not really expecting much fruit off them this year anyway - they are so small. An investment for coming years  :)
