Title: new old greenhouse..
Post by: RoynLisa on March 15, 2007, 11:06
I have acquired a small aluminium greenhouse from my rellies and I've now got it up on a firm base -bolted on to timbers and that onto the slabs,I'm gonna put some silicon sealant on the glass clips to hopefully stop them from pinging off in high winds,so everything goin quite well but here's me thinking how and what do wash/clean the thing with to get rid of pests, insects etc?? any advice would be gratefully received...RnL

I always pour some Jeyes fluid into a pump bottle and spray everything inside(after removing all the staging etc),i leave for 5 mins then wash it all off with a hose pipe.It works for me with no problems and smells fantastic afterwards.

The staging in my greenhouse is pretty sturdily fixed in (wood, BTW, as is the entire greenhouse) - do you HAVE to remove the staging if u r going to wash it down with Jeyes?
