Another sunny day

Another cracking day right up until 6pm when the sky suddenly went dark. A couple of spits of rain but that was about it.

Dramatic clouds scudding across the sky but only a few drops of the much needed rain have arrived so far. Reasonably warm though. Heavier rain is promised for later.

Nice warm day yesterday with the promise of heavy showers in the afternoon.

In the event, my garden stayed bone dry, whereas a friend walking in a park about 4 miles away got drenched!

Today, pleasantly warm start although the wind is starting to pick up as the weather front approaches (allegedly!    )

It's piddling with rain and turned chilly

Rain started about midday and has alternated between drizzle and heavy.  It's a bit breezy but nothing like they said.  Call this a storm, I call it a normal autumnal day!  I might have to eat those words later though.

It finally arrived in force and we've had an inch of rain so far today

It is still raining though...

Looks like the thunder storm warnings have gone and the rain is hardly heavy here. We've had 27mm over the last 24 hours - swear you can see the grass greening and growing!

Pretty windy out there today which is keeping the clouds moving and taking the edge off the temperature.
