Can you use the soda stream system to ad fizz to brews or would that make it too fizzy??

also is there an alternative to pectic enzyme and is it needed/nescesarry?

No idea about the 'added fizzzzzzz',

but 'Pectolaze' (pectin destroying enzyme) is needed to as it says on the tin to destroy the pectin as this will leave a haze in the finished wine and be practically impossible to clear.    Hope this helps.     Cheers,    Tony.

Wayne, I once tried to liven up a beer with a soda stream, and it near on blew the thing up!!!

It gets very messy Wayne, and probably not as good idea, because the fizz is too powerful for an already fermenting mix.

But try it, and ask yourself if the ceiling was so important when it was whiite once...

Pectolase is a necessary additive, and gets rid of the things which could even get your brew to set like jam etc!
