I'd have grown more French beans and far fewer runners

I'd have grown my aubergines outside and they wouldn't be infested with aphids
Never stop learning

I also wouldn't have filled up the polytunnel with sweetcorn. The few I planted outside are doing great

I'd have planted tomatoes at the lottie as well as inside the greenhouse and risked blight!!
I have my own cement mixer and not afraid to use it!!

I'd have planted bigger varieties of tomatoes, so pleased with the cherries.  and more outside plot cucumbers, romping away like triffids they are compared to the greenhouse pot ones.

Right on, Yana, so would have I!

There's a bed of nineteen toms, and I'd have done far more - had I known..0)

You never have enough tomatoes!

I'd have bought some greenhouse shading. After last year I thought we're never going to get two decent summers in a row!

It's often been over 40 degrees in there!

Last year I grew Toms outside perfectly - I was inundated with them! This year I lost the lot to blight but my spuds were absolutely fine :( I wish I had a greenhouse.....

Sian

As with most veg they are better eaten fresh but they do freeze well and are good for they lean months.

I blanch, refresh , open freeze and then bag them. It makes it easier to take out just the ones you need. ;)

And if I had known how good the summer would be I would have given peppers and aubergines another go.

But there is always next year. :D
