Hi everyone,
I am currently putting together a funding bid for a local grant. We are looking to source some equipment for people with mobility issues as we want to develop at least one plot that we can open up to people in this position.
One item that has been mentioned (which will no doubt help all sorts of people on the site) is a powered wheelbarrow. As part of the grant application, I will be including a solar panel for use in the allotment shop to recharge starter batteries for mowers, etc anyway.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience of powered wheelbarrows and could make any recommendations? Many thanks.

Hi, thanks for this. I must admit, this is the one I had found that impressed me the most - apparently it had been featured on an Alan Titchmarsh chat show (though I didn't see that). I also liked the fact that it seems simple to swap out the rechargeable battery unit.
