In the Potting Shed I've Been
« on: January 29, 2012, 20:49 »
Planting up a tub of house plants ready for my friend's birthday next weekend.

What have you been doing in your shed today?

I found some seedlings from my rockery daisies, so I potted them up. They can stay in the greenhouse protected from the worst of this Siberian weather we are forecast for the next week or 2  ;)

Some perennial sweetpeas sown last year, had finally decided to grow so I've potted them on as well.

ps, my potting shed is my greenhouse

That looks lovely snowdrops  :D

Where did you get the planter from?

Make sure you don't leave the plants in the shed - it's going to be frosty this week!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Thank you, my mum bought a set of 3 of them 2/3 yrs ago & I'd not used them, that is the largest. It's now in my lounge waiting to be given to her when I babysit on Thurs.

Thank you I hope my friend likes it. She's just had a new conservatory so I thought it might be suitable for there.

I've been re-designing the independant suspension on the chariot.  This is the modified Garden Centre trolley I use to take stuff down to the allotment rather than load up the van.       Doc says "Get more exersize".

Under a large load the chassis used to foul the tyres.   Job done.     Cheers,     Tony.
I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !
