I am glad you have at least sighted him. It makes you feel so much better. Hope you catch him soon.

Do feel better knowing he is not dead in a ditch! Just need to work out how to get him out of the ditch and back into the house! Been over a week since he had his dressing changed. Lord knows what state his wound is in.

My cat was in a neighbour'a garden, it took them a week of feeding him, moving the bowl closer and closer to their back door to lure him into their house. I was so grateful to them. Perhaps you could try putting feed out if you know what time he is likely to be about. It is really hard to catch a cat that doesn't want to be a caught! It is such a relief to know they are okay though. I kept getting calls about one that looked the same and had been run over at the same time as my cat went missing. I spent a couple of very upset weeks until my neighbours called to say that they thought he was in their garden. The relief was great. But a lot of patience was required to get him back. At least Oscar is not lost and hopefully he will just pop in when the mood takes him.

Yay!!!

Oscar's back!
He rocked up this morning while I was still in bed like he'd never been away. Well that's not completely true, he was very friendly and a bit skinny and had lost his dressing but the wound is healing up nicely.

Yay!!!

It's such a relief!  :D

Having not seen him for a week was really starting to fear the worst. Particularly as  this week his mum who lives with my sister returned home having had a terrible accident and lost her leg! My sister found her in her bedroom with her whole hind leg missing. Miraculously she didn't bleed to death and the vet has stitched up the wound.

My sister had sorted out her house so that everything is on the same level for the cat - hasn't stopped her jumping up on the table, running upstairs and back onto the bed three-legged or not! Quite amazing really and makes poor old Oscar look like he very much had the man-flu version of leg injuries! :tongue2:

Maybe he was fed up with the rain & knew of a place where it's warm & cosy.

So, he made his way home to the warmth & a full tummy.

Glad he's home, having 4 cats, I can understand the worry.

I agree he must have been watching the weather forecast.  Glad he is back I'm sure you will soon feed him up again.

That is great news that your sisters cat is making such a good and quick recovery.   :D

He's been tucked up with me most of the weekend. He's still very nervy but hopefully will settle down soon.
