I'm doing a slight experiment this year. Some of my tomatoes I'm bringing in and out and others have been stood in a wilko plastic greenhouse within my greenhouse since late March.

Just to continue, I've now stopped taking my plants in and out and as far as I can make out there is absolutely no difference between the ones that have been left in the greenhouse and the ones which have come in and out. So in future, they will stay in the greenhouse (inside a plastic greenhouse) from the end of March to maximise their exposure to sunshine.

I culled them yesterday to reduce to (only slightly more) than the number I need, and I probably kept slightly more of the ones that had stayed outside.

I have no fleece and mine are all still in the unheated greenhouse, not having been moved outside once as I'd not even thought about it   

Gales blowing here again today so things are staying in.
