We took Miki to the vet to be 'done' today. While we were at the vets I discovered Miki had an abcess on his head, it burst, the abcess, not his head!!
So his castration, microchip, rabies injection and another injection, antibiotics for abcess , a years worming stuff, in a pre loaded syringe thing and a pet passport came to 191€  a lot, but it could have been far more!
Milly, Thé little kitty I hand reared can't be spayed until she is around 7 or 8 months the

Pamela vet said! She is a very tiny kitten, does size matter? I had hoped she could be sorted soon, I hope she doesn't get out and pregnant before then!

Hi iv just had my kittens "done" one male one female , the female is a very small kitten and was six months when she was done it was a little keyhole type surgery thru her side she's fine tho

We are off to Antequera tomorrow to see about the car, there is a vet close to the garage, I will go and ask the vet there about it.
Just been to check Miki, he sleeps on a shelf in the garage, he is fine.  He has 4 blankets folded ups eu his bed us very deep, a wall of bubble /polystyrene stuff and a curtain from my old fleecy pyjama top, so his bed is very cosy. He climbed down walkers about and then went back to bed. 

Mili was wanting to play with Miki but we didn't let her, I think she was swearing at us!!

Miki is fine this morning, he is waiting for his breakfast.  He has played a bit with Mili, until she bashed him on his head, he then stopped playing!  Everything looks fine. 
When Mili goes to be done it is around 290€
There is a charity that spays 'rescue cats' which Mili kind of was, she came to me 3 days old from a Spanish family who had loads of cats, none done, and her mother had been killed. Thé charity does females for around 50€ against Thé vets 150€ but it is a 2 hour drive to get there!

Our two cats were £124 for the two of them I thought that was alot!

The 290€ is for everything, microchip, rabies, other injection, worming and passport.
The spaying alone would cost 150€  the vet I spoke to yesterday said 125€ I spoke to another vet, his was 98€ it will cost us around 50€ in fuel though, so not much difference then is it?
Miki is fine, don't think he misses anything!

Since Miki had his op he has stopped wandering, but it has been cold, so maybe that has stopped him wandering.  He has been indoors more than outside, so much for getting a cat to catch rats!!
