Ok, so im considering starting jam making . I know how you make it i think, you mash up the fruit, then add boiling water, then a cupfull of sugar, then stir. What im asking is, What do you think is the best fruit to start with?

why not buy this book - it's very good and will show you different types and also the correct method of making jam

or click on the recipe tab at the top, loads of jam recipes/help there
I wouldn't start with strawberries though, cos it's difficult to get that one to set.
