Deer are lovely but seem to want to eat our crocus flowers. Who has a good plan to gently scare them out of the garden?

My sister in the Lakes used to have the same problem. She was so chuffed when she first moved there to have deer, badgers, herons and foxes come in to the garden.

The deer ate all her favourite plants, the badgers dig holes in the lawn, the heron eats the fish and frogs from her pond and the fox leaves stuff for the dog to roll in!

The deer were easiest to deal with....fencing, and high. Anyone leaving the gates open gets a severe frown!

I`ve seen human hair tied up in old stockings used to keep deer from eating saplings. Renardine (if they still make it) will keep deer away from roses but smells awful.
Human urine may work if you cannot lay your hands on some lion poo.

Heard about the lion poo.....and as it happens OH works in a Zoo.

Ah but can you imagine the stench after the dogs had rolled in it?
