Fresh cabbage every day hung on string from the roof just slightly out of easy reach to add some variety.   ::)

 :lol: Would definitely be cheaper and easier to buy eggs from the supermarket instead of going to all the trouble of "converting" pasta and sweetcorn etc into home grown eggs!! That's not to mention the chook food and meal worms  :ohmy:

Well yes it would.  But I know that my girls are happy, healthy and well nourished.   Also, I can cook an egg and know for certain it's completely fresh and not "supermarket fresh".  They can display eggs as fresh when they are three weeks old. :ohmy:

yes, but this morning i had cooked a dippy egg for my boy that i watched being laid,brought it straight in,plopped it in the water, and it was on his plate 3mins later!how many times can you do that will supermarkets? :D
