Title: Can you help identify this?
Post by: TedA on June 08, 2020, 17:47
Hi,

Relatively new to allotmenting, this is only our second year, and we've just noticed what looks like a leaf-yellowing affecting almost half of one of our beds. It looks like it's spread through the turnips, kale, cabbages, and brussels sprouts. I've had a look at various sites but with my limited experience I've hit a bit of a dead end. Does anyone know what this is and, if so, is there anything we can do about it?

Any advice is massively appreciated, thanks.

Welcome to the forum  :D

They look OK to me, but if you're worried you could add a nitrogen feed if you have access to one, or a general purpose fertiliser otherwise.

Thanks for the welcome!

I'll add a nitrogen feed, I think we've already got one somewhere as it happens. I was a bit concerned it might be some kind of bacteria(?) type thing though, as it looks like it's spreading from a central point outwards across the bed.
