Just went to Wilcos and bought a few bits. They've got fleece (1.5 x 8 metres) for under £3. And the seed offer is still on......
Ho hum....need more beds....! Already started digging up the lawn.....

I bought some from focus last week - £3 odd - and that is very thin too - but never bought it before so I don't know the difference

cheap fleece = thin...........thick fleece = expensive, but even a good one doesn't seem to last any more than a year for me :(
so I buy the cheapies from poundland and double up if necessary

I use both weights of fleece. The heavy one is best for frosty nights and it really does protect well. The lighter one is more to keep flying pests off for a while as it's too light to keep out frost without doubling (which is way too much trouble for me).

My heavy fleece is in it's 3rd year now and still holding up as I'm careful to fold and put it away once it's no longer needed. I paid a lot for it and want it to last.
