That's awful after getting you all psyched up as well. Think leaving he trailer with feed in it is a good idea - hopefully after a day or so they will be OK with going inside it.
Staffies are softer than you think.

naughty pigs eh?    :(
Maybe as they have a shelter rather than an arc and they didn't fancy going in to somewhere? Keep feeding them in the trailer only so they get used to it.
To be on the safe side you could even load them the night before, put some straw and water in, they can have a good night's sleep then trundle of in the morning with no stress for you or them.
Good luck...again  :)

I have not chickened out, or telling porkies.  Honest.
I had problems getting them to cross where the fence was. They then got frightened.  They then decided that roots in the feild was a better option than having my breakfast.  I have built a run to the trailer and we will see what happens. Fingers crossed.

it's typical that they wont cross the 'invisible line' where the electric fence used to be when you want them to, but when you don't, they're off like a shot!

Try a straw 'path' into the trailer.

Remember, you can't push a pig, they tend to jack-knife.

How could you use sausages, you haven't got any yet
Sorry it didn't go well today.
We have 17 chickens, 3 quail, 2 dogs, 3 cats and that's enough (for this week)
