Make sure you prick the yolk first too.  Helps to stop that exploding

I only do scrambled eggs in the m'wave.  Just give them a stir with a fork every 10 secs or so. :D

... now I have to confess ... once again to Muntjac's absolute delight ... that I can't poach an egg!  If you want homemade thai fish cakes or even profiteroles I'm yer woman, but poaching an egg is beyond me.

I can boil em, scramble em, fry em, bake em, omelette the * and even turn em into creme caramel or pavlova, but I can't poach em.

But now, with the aid of an ex marine, a small dish and a microwave I can poach eggs beautifully.

Breakfast this morning was one poached egg and a lovely thick slice of ham from the deli ... marvellous!

Oh Well, as long as you're happy Wellies, that's all that counts, but I must admit I've gone back to scrambling my eggs in a pan as OH likes them very soft, and its easier than keep opening the flaming microwave door to stir the * every few seconds!!!!!!

I prefer my porridge in the pan too!!!!!
